Sharing their seven strong membership between Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Recitals are rallying together for a nationwide tour in celebration of their newly released Flying Nun Records debut album Orbit I. Created by bandmates Xanthe Rook, Sam Curtiss, Olivia Wilding, Carla Camilleri, Josh Finegan, Christian Dimick and Tharushi Bowatte, we said on release Orbit I is "a multi-faceted gemstone of majestic, sometimes almost wildly cacophonous instrumental arrangements and lyrically vivid, heart-bursting songcraft". The musical collective will be joined on their journey by friends and fellow travellers including Model Home, Night Lunch, Dale Kerrigan, Randa, Womb, The Spectre Collective, Mystery Waitress and more, plus they’ll be performing at Flying Nun’s end of year wrap party Beautiful Things in the super city.
